Dollar For Pound Donation Report From Lollipop Love 4

I would like to take a moment to say Thank You to everyone who donated food at our event on saturday night. I am pleased to inform you that the Food Bank of Northern Nevada is ecstatic to see what our community is trying to do to help the hungry. We weighed our donation at 1073 pounds of food, and were able to donate $1073.00 to The Renown Foundation for Cancer Services. We have decided to name this fundraiser Dollar For Pound, where we will be donating not only to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada, but also to The Renown Foundation’s Center For Cancer Treatment.

This donation was for $1073, and was made to match the weight of food that was donated to the Food Bank Of Northern Nevada.

From now on (Including the amount of food that was donated at Now-loween : Snakes At A Rave), We at Andy & Friends will donate $1 to match each pound of food that we are able to donate. Our goal with contributing with these drives is that we hope we can Give a total of 10,000 lbs of food, and 10,000$ to be credited to Northern Nevada’s Electronic Music Community.

I think it’s about time that our community gets some recognition for the good things that we do. I also feel that with the struggles some of the members of our community are having with cancer, and the battles they have already won, that contributing to a local organization that offers services and does research to help fight cancer would be appropriate.

Thank you guys for fighting, not giving up, and supporting me, and our community.

Let’s try for 10,000 lbs, thats a lot of food…
