Giving Back to the Community

We feel that the local Electronic Music community has a slight misrepresentation. We feel that together we are able to make a positive impact on our community. We have decided to start our efforts by hosting food drives where the food is donated to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada, and a donation campaign where proceeds for events are donated to the Renown Foundation to be distributed towards the Cancer Center at Renown Health. We feel that both operations help our community in two very wonderful ways, helping with hunger, and localized cancer treatment.

Our Current Campaign

Our current campaign is called Dollar for Pound. We have decided to discount admission into our events that we designate as food drives by $5.00 when a guest donates at least 1 can of food. The food is then taken to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada where it is weighed. After we have the receipt for the weight of food donated in pounds, we donate a portion of our proceeds from the event that matches the amount of food donated in pounds. Our goal for this campaign is 10,000 lbs of food and $10,000.

Dollar For Pound Donation Report From Nowloween: Snakes At A Rave

We would like to say thank you to everyone who brought us canned food for donation for Nowloween: Snakes At A Rave. We weighed the food at the Food Bank of Northern Nevada, and we weighed out to 1027 pounds. We matched this donation with a donation to The Renown Foundation at Renown Health for $1027.00 that we put towards Cancer Services. Thank You everyone!
